Possible 2025 718 EV styling (rendering)

Came across this article in Car and Driver about the possible look of the 2025 718 EV (starting price $78k).

I like the look of the car and the way they seem to marry the Taycan and 718 in a 2 door Coupe and Convertible. Not a lot of news in the article - does anyone have info on the battery size / range?

I would prefer it if it looked more like this personally - that image is just a Taycan front-end slapped onto the existing 718.

Indeed a very ‘basic’ render but still looks really nice - this render showing a hard top roof - wonder if they’d more likely go soft top to strip off more weight.

Looks cool, but wouldn’t except anything else. I wonder what the starting price will be in the UK.

Looks like they have working vents actually in the bogus mock-up camouflaged front end - can see them open in lower shot but closed on other side - odd unless actuated/testing to mimic real world variable cooling for whatever might go in there - prob a stretch! Doubt anything will look like these on a prod model.

Wheel/tire stagger looks aggressive on this demo too - poss just perspective here as other shots less so.

I’m hoping it’s very similar to the Mission R. It’s a dedicated (albeit VAG) ev platform in so no reason why not. It needs to be a radical step on from Cayma in my view.

I have a 2020 Taycan, but this is the EV car I've always wanted. Either this or a 911 EV convertible.


I can't wait. My local dealer is taking deposits. Will get mine in tomorrow.
