I purchased the J+B2 earlier this year and was super impressed with the build quality and the user interface. It's built like a tank. I got a few of the extra adapters too.

I was influenced by @tigerbalm's positive review of the European version a couple of years prior. Thanks @tigerbalm!

Thanks, Mike - If I plan to charge at 40 amps, should I have a 50amp line installed or is 40amp enough?

9.6kw 40 amp charge rate requires a 50 amp breaker and appropriate wire gauge

7.68 kw 32 amp charge rate requires a 40 amp breaker and appropriate wire gauge

5.67 kw 24 amp charge rate requires 30 amp breaker and appropriate wire gauge

you can only charge at 80% of the rated breaker/circuit load as noted by @Jonathan S.

It looks like some others have replied sooner, but you will want a 50 Amp breaker. You can safely use 80% of the breaker's rated capacity.

Hey Mike, any chance of getting a NEMA 14-30 adapter, similar to what Tesla offers on their EVSE?

Hi Roger, We've been waiting on this one for a while now. Current ETA is likely middle of next year, there is not an official release date yet.

I've messaged the appropriate team to see if they can provide me an update.
