It started charging at around 40-50%, and charged until 89%; with a peak charging speed of 162kw and it stayed consistently above 150kw until 85%

That is already a bad scenario for charging and EV, as the Battery won’t be able to achieve peak charging speed by starting at 50%, likely with no preconditioning.

So I wouldn’t speculate too much.

The fact that it can maintain 150 until 85% is indication that the peak is quite a bit higher - I wouldn’t expect worse than j1.1 taycan; likely matching j1.2.

Overall still a bit disappointing, as Chinese cars available in Europe can already deliver 450kw peaks and 200kw at 80%.

Let’s hope an ideal charging scenario (10-85%) would lead to a higher peak and a better curve up to 85%.

EDIT: just noticed that the video is 3 years old, so this is likely the bankrupt northvolt battery.
So even less reason to speculate too much about the numbers.

It delivered 39.39 kw from 40-50% to 89%.

So we can speculate that 39.39kw is 40 to 50% of the battery capacity. So the full battery would be 80-90kw (around the size of j1.1 taycan)

We don’t know if they will offer 2 battery sizes, but I think it’s unlikely

Whoever took the screen pictures never heard of landscape orientation, or maybe they just didn’t want to look “old” when taking the pictures

They aren't launching with the battery from the video for sure, as that battery doesn't exist anymore. The company making it went bankrupt and porsche changed supplier more than a year ago - the whole reason this car has been delayed so much.
