99% uncovered / uncumflaged 718 ev. Only stickers left as camo on it for lights and vent stickers for the non existing vents

And here's the car it used as inspiration:

Side skirts are very similar to MissionR; obviously no side vents. The headlights are also preatty much identical to the MissionR. The front bumper/vents are dyanmic, lifted straight up from the 911 992.2 gts/turbo s.
The rear has nothing to do with the MissionR, but it also differs from the rest of the Porsche electric lineup

So i'm new to the Porsche brand. But my brother was a owned porsche owner maybe over a decade ago...so i picked a few things from him.

Namely, that he Cayman COULD actually be their best performing car. With the mid-engine being better than a rear-engine for overall performance/handling.

It was explained to me that Porsche purposefully keep the Cayman with detuned engines, ensure that the Caymen doesn't outperform the 911.

With the electric Cayman, i think i would be pretty likely that it will outperform most of the 911 lineup, maybe beside the turbo/hybrid model.

So do you guys think they'll allow the Cayman to shine, or will they hold their cards for another 911 variant?

It will be a colosal failure if they intentionally keep the cayman EV back.

As it is right now, the Cayenne EV is porsche's most powerfull car. So an SUV already outperforms the 911.

As for track performance, the car needs to at the very least outperform the taycan GT, for them to even claim it's a sports car. If it doesn't, then it will be ridiculed. And the taycan GT is right on the tail of the 911 gt3 on the track, despite being much heavier - and we espect the cayman EV to be around 300-400kg less heavy than the taycan.

The packaging and cooling constraints as a result of the stacked/ centre battery location has to limit the capacity and power possibilities for the foreseeable, at least until the next generation of ( probably solid state) batteries are widely available. Therefore I suspect the price / performance will reflect these realities- the sister car will be the new TT after all.
Perhaps as a result we’ll see a return to the old philosophy of an entry level Porsche, similar to Boxter, 924/944, etc.
