Anyone considering the Tesla Roadster? I wired my deposit today. It's refundable so I figured WTH. Would still prefer a convertible so I think the Boxster EV is more likely the winner. There's A LOT of pros and cons for Tesla and Porsche.

Because if Elon Musk I wouldn’t even consider a Tesla. Which is a shame because the Roadster and a Model 3 for my wife would be perfect, but I just can’t do it

Tesla roadster will likely see first deliveries in 2033 at the pace they are going. So, i am not intrested.

I've read that the 718 EV will only be a couple hundred pounds heavier than the ICE was.

So the same weight as a $40k Tesla Model 3 RWD. Disappointing. But hey you can lap the Nurburgring!

Yes. So 300kg more than the gasser. Should be easy to make it handle well.

You're so right. You know what else weighs the same? The Chevy Bolt. Clearly, the Bolt, Model 3 and Cayman will all offer the exact same driving experience, because vehicle weight is all that matters....
