I used to feel the same way. I decided to acquire a 2026 Model Y AWD Premium to be a beater car for winter and NYC driving. After driving it for 1.5 years now and 4000 miles of FSD use, I will never acquire another Porsche EV. Simply, they are not in the same league as a DD.

You are most welcome! I failed to mention that I have owned two Taycan's MY21 base and MY24 4S. I had over 5 years and 50k miles in them. I could not handle the software any longer. Simple things like LTE connectivity, Carplay not connecting, service issues and endless recalls took their toll on me. If you look at my posts in the Taycan forum, you will see I loved the car's design and the drive. I do hope the 718 EV will be better, but I doubt they can resolve the software issues in the time frame that they have to bring the vehicle to market.
