99% uncovered / uncumflaged 718 ev. Only stickers left as camo on it for lights and vent stickers for the non existing vents

And here's the car it used as inspiration:

Side skirts are very similar to MissionR; obviously no side vents. The headlights are also preatty much identical to the MissionR. The front bumper/vents are dyanmic, lifted straight up from the 911 992.2 gts/turbo s.

The rear has nothing to do with the MissionR, but it also differs from the rest of the Porsche electric lineup

I would say starting at 90-100k.

It's unclear if they will release GT4/GT4RS models; But i would put caymn s at 120; gts at 150; gt4 at close to 180; gt4RS at 200+.

Prices for porsche have only went up, and the new CEO is adamant in selling less for more. So i don't think they will, can or want to release at the price points of the past.

At least in Canada, the price increases have been below inflation. I had a 2016 Cayman GTS, and comparing to the exact same optioned 2025 Cayman GTS 4.0, it’s less than 2% per year price growth, with of course a bigger engine and more safety features. Canada enacted a luxury tax, which I believe Porsche ate some of as well.

Whatever the cost, it will cost 27.5% more in the US because of the dumb tariffs.

I find it pretty funny that they even bothered to cover it up in the past as to me it looks basically the same as the old 718 (the difference are trivial).

I strongly dislike black for this car, but otherwise looks good. Hopefully it has similar charging performance of the gen2 Taycan.

Hmm not sure about the rear end on that but hard to tell in black. Is that a central charge port in the rear? Meaning a write off with a simple rear end shunt or reverse in to a pillar

The rear is just as weird as the old boxter.

On the cayman, it will look vastly better; the roof line goes all the way to the spoiler.

And yes, the charging port in on the back. It's the first porsche EV with 1 single charging port; so clear intention of lowering the price. The port should be higher than the impact zone of most small rear end accidents, and it of course depends how deep within the opening the port actually is and how well protected it is.
It is definitely awkard placement, as it will clearly affect the boot space of the cayman, if it has any. I suspect they did it to be able to save weight on wiring, as the battery is right there behind the seats, everything else would be around there also, therefore much shorter cables.
On the upside, it is very accesible if it ever needs repair.

Look forward to seeing the Cayman version then, that would be the one I buy anyway.

I guess what you lose in boot space with the rear charge port you may then gain with the frunk?

Not sure why it would be bigger than the current generations. Although frankly they are already big enough - I fit a whole Costco trip in there.

I too look forward to seeing it formally revealed including on the configurator. Will take it for a test drive, though sure in advance it will be another high quality Porsche in the ways that count.

Unknown for at least a year whether it would it become our second one in our garage but wanting to learning and experiencing in the interim. If we get one it too will not be in black. It will be a Caymen version.

Thank you very much chun for posting the above excellent pictures for us all!
